Tami Alford Duttweiler


Tami is a Fort Walton Beach, Florida native. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Elementary Education. For 16 years, Tami taught in the public school system. In 2004, Tami and her husband John left their careers and have owned and operated House of Carpets since. Tami attended Shaw’s Learning Academy and has completed Flooring Institute of Technology and S.A.L.T. Leadership Training. House of Carpets has served the panhandle for over 48 years and continuing her father’s legacy is something that she values greatly. It is her mission to ensure that all of our customers are provided with service next to none. The combination of exemplary service, exceptional flooring products, and professional installation create a partnership with our loyal clients for generations to come. Tami’s real passion is helping her clients with design, style, and color.

John has over 25 years of professional experience in the customer service industry. He takes great pride in getting a job done right and exceeding customer’s expectations. Great Products + Great Service = Great Customers. John is married with two boys. Graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Central Florida.
